The Weight Of Reminiscing

I remember you drones, I remember you wall,
I remember you smoke, I remember you all.

Well, I understand every man lives for himself and they make their own decisions in life but I guess sometimes, I can't help but feel frustrated at some of the details I see around me. What are you looking into? What is the reflection you create when you look at yourself in the mirror? Who are you dealing with today? What are you socializing yourself with?

Today I am a lover. No, not a lover, today I am a drunk. No, yesterday I was a thief so now I am a protector. To protect myself, I fight. No, I have to keep my promises, today I am a faith prayer. Yesterday I was a womanizer. No, no more, I am new. Maybe not today. Okay, tomorrow I will be new.

But are you?
Maybe just this once, one time and it will be all over. One more try, one more taste of its sweet nectar.

It is that weakness in 'one' that many are destroyed. Maybe I am just over-analyzing this and making a big deal. I am the kind of person who looks into details, I pick out the tendencies. Why all the trouble really, what is the fuss? My fear for the worst and the love for the future drives me.

I remember those days. I remembered....
And now, I stopped remembering.
And it was harder. But it went better.
